The standard hire period for skips in Liverpool is 14 days, unless you’ve arranged a longer term. If your skip was removed earlier, it may be due to exceeding this period or an expired permit. Please get in touch if you believe this is an error.
If you need to extend the hire, contact your provider to make arrangements. Additional charges may apply for an extended period.
Your waste will be transported to a licensed facility for sorting and recycling, in line with local and national regulations. We aim to recycle as much as possible to minimize landfill usage and reduce environmental impact.
Unfortunately, mattresses are not permitted in regular skips due to recycling and disposal rules. If you need to dispose of a mattress, a surcharge may apply. Please consult with your skip provider to arrange special disposal.
Skips should not be overloaded. Waste must be contained within the sides of the skip and should not extend above the rim. If the skip is overloaded, it will not be collected, and you may incur an extra charge for removal.
Plasterboard cannot be mixed with other waste and must be disposed of separately. Please bag plasterboard and place it on top of the skip. A special surcharge may apply for disposing of plasterboard, so be sure to inform your skip provider.
You don’t need to be present for the delivery or collection of your skip, unless there are special instructions. Just ensure that the skip is accessible and there are no obstacles preventing safe drop-off or pick-up.
To make the most efficient use of your skip, load heavy items first, placing them at the bottom. Lighter items should go on top. This will help you load your skip evenly and avoid overloading.
